VBrick and Glowpoint Partner for Live Internet TV Service

VBrick Systems and Glowpoint (News - Alert) have announced a partnership to deliver Live Internet TV services.
As per the partnership, VBrick (News - Alert), a provider of online networked video, will work with Glowpoint on the broadcast and management of live events over the Internet. Both companies will promote and sell a bundled service that combines their offerings.
The new offering, a combination of VBrick Online Streaming Service (VBoss) and Glowpoint's Quality of Service
(QOS) Managed Video Network Services, will provide customers with a plug and play way to distribute live and on-demand video on the Internet.
With the new solution, customers will have the ability to manage and monitieze video content on their own branded Internet TV.
"Our broadcast and enterprise customers have been asking us for ways to help them address the challenge and complexity of getting quality content for broadband distribution. We looked at a number of options but ultimately chose VBrick because of the company's long-standing leadership in creating video streaming
solutions," said Mike Brandofino, chief executive office of Glowpoint.
"This new service essentially gives every customer the ability to create their own on-line IP
TV channel," said Brandofino.
The partnership will also help Glowpoint to move beyond offering only two-way services to allow its customers to create and distribute content captured using Glowpoint to the Internet use the VBoss platform.
The VBoss solution includes live video capture hardware, the VBoss Media Management Console, streaming bandwidth, video storage, monetizing tools, reporting tools, community building features and distribution partnerships to increase viewership.
The general release of this product offering is targeted for June.
