EVT, a provider of video management software, and VIVOTEK, a manufacture of IP surveillance products, announced today that they’ve joined forces to integrate Vivotek’s complete line of products with EVT’s video management software.

 

The strategic partnership will allow EVT and VIVOTEK to offer intuitive video management solutions supported by IP cameras, officials from both companies say. According to the companies’ sources, the integration of Vivotek’s high performance IP cameras enhances EVT’s patent pending Image Content Navigation and 2.5D Live Video Maps modules with high quality video.

 

The integration will ultimately improve security operators’ ability to manage and resolve security events quickly and effectively, they say.

 

Oren Feldmann, vice president of sales and marketing at EVT, said that the impressive performance of VIVOTEK’s cameras ideally complements EVT’s open architecture solutions’ providing both EVT and VIVOTEK’s distributors with a complete portfolio of easy to install practical video surveillance solutions.

 

Owen Chen, VIVOTEK chairman, said that the combination of VIVOTEK network cameras and EVT video management software provides distributors with a comprehensive and practical surveillance portfolio. He said that with EVT’s video management software, VIVOTEK is able to offer higher-quality services and products that can better address customers.

EVT has adopted the OV Ready Protocol – an XML-based intelligent video network protocol that standardizes video analytics rule, alert and configuration communications.
