Tivus, a provider of high definition Internet Protocol television (HD IPTV (News - Alert)) solutions for hotel entertainment industry, has announced a strategic partnership with InfoValue Computing, a supplier of IPTV middleware application solution, to integrate InfoValue’s technology in Tivus' HD IPTV entertainment system for the hotel/hospitality industry.

Tivus has created the first-ever ad-based, revenue-sharing HD IPTV service for the hotel entertainment industry. With Tivus' HD IPTV system, hotels can choose content that aligns with the chain's brand experience while ensuring guest satisfaction and generating additional revenue, according to company officials.

Tivus allows users to access free-to-guest programming, review their room folio, order hotel amenities, stream the latest Hollywood movies, enjoy video gaming, and explore local attractions.
