Azuki Systems Announces Company Expansion for Interactive Mobile Media Services

Azuki Systems, a company offering interactive mobile media technology, has announced a significant company expansion.
 
This year in June, the company introduced a comprehensive interactive mobile media services platform, Azuki MashMedia platform. Since its launch, the company said that it has doubled its physical footprint.

 
In spite of the economic slow-down and companies firing their employees, company said that it has hired additional talent to further the development of interactive mobile media services.
 
Recently, Azuki appointed industry veterans Andy Roberts, vice president of advanced technology, Mark Basler, vice president of business development, and Dan Carney, vice president of operations.
 
Additionally, the company has entered into customer trials with prominent media companies. Company officials said that these companies are piloting the MashMedia Platform to help purpose their rich media assets for mobile and enable content monetization.
 
With the help of MashMedia platform, content publishers and mobile operators can create, differentiate, and monetize personal, interactive rich media services.
 
Cheng Wu, co-founder and serial entrepreneur of Azuki called the expansion of the company—both in terms of real estate and our employee-base—a “significant” feat especially given the overall economic downturn.
 
Using Azuki’s MashMedia Platform, companies will be able to provide “snackable” and interactive mobile media services that engage mobile users, according to the company.
 
The platform’s core mashup engine leverages contextual user intelligence and content metadata to assemble Web and user-generated content services with targeted in-video advertising.
 
In October, Azuki updated its MashMedia Platform with ClickZoom technology. Company said that this enhancement enables the chapterization of mobile content into snackable segments.
 
In addition to working with automotive content provider WheelsTV, Azuki said that it’s also helping to mobilize rich media content for Boston.TV.
 
In September, the company selected LimeLight Networks to provide mobile content delivery services to further enable flexible and scalable mobile content delivery.
 
“We look forward to building on this momentum and to a successful 2009,” said Jim Ricotta, CEO at Azuki.
