The new Challenger DTM-QS is an 8-input ASI de-multiplexer/re-multiplexer. The DSM (News - Alert)-QS is an 8-input high density satellite de-multiplexer and re-multiplexer and DEM-2800 has 28 MPEG encoders, four multiplexers, scramblers, modulators and RF up-converters all packed into one single compact component.

Norman Gillaspie, president of Transparent Video Systems said the company has been striving to provide users with global DVB standards-based systems for more than 3 years while these have only been promised by other companies at this price point.
